Hi
My Home Server is hooked directly to the SFP Port on my ATP. The ATP is the DHCP Server for a bunch of Virtual Machines. Now I have to move them somehow to an Server who is connect lets say Lan Port 1 (= P4). For that reason I set up LAN2 and under "DHCP Setting" I choose DHCP Relay and in "Relay Server 1" I put in the IP from the SFP DHCP like 192.168.100.1

When I activate the Rule the hole System drive insane and not asign any IP Adress to any network anymore.

So what is the correct way?

Thanks

    Hi @Username_is_reserved,

May I know your DHCP server is based on which OS? Linux or Windows Server?

It is the DHCP Server from sfp Port.

    Hi
Sorry for the late replay I try to ex plane it again.
Here is how the SFP Port config: It is "just" the DHCP Server actived.

Here on Picture 2 is the Lan2 who I can config to be on the Physical Lan Ports.
Do I need to set "DHCP Relay" that for example when I put LAN 2 on Port 7 that a Pc who is pluged into Port 7 get a IP Adress from the "SFP" DHCP Server Pool?
    Thanks

The SFP can not port role with LAN2

LAN2 can only port role with other ethernets

To expand the SFP network you will need a switch to it

Does "DHCP Relay" not work in that case?

Can't say I used DHCP Relay but I don't think it will do what you want. My understanding is there is DHCP server by Zywall for its LAN but if on another subnet you have a 3rd party DHCP server that will manage that subnet that where DHCP Relay comes in.

    Hi @Username_is_reserved,

Yes, USG FLEX doesn't support receiving DHCP relay packets, therefore, you will need a switch for your scenario. SFP port and other ethernet ports can't combine together or the LAN interface set DHCP relay to SFP port as DHCP server. One is because it does not support receiving DHCP relay packets, another is because the IP subnet overlaps on different interfaces.
