[Announcement] Implementation of Log Throttling Mechanism in SecuReporter

To uphold the stability, performance, and service quality of SecuReporter, Zyxel will implement a log throttling mechanism.
This design aims to optimize system resource usage and includes safeguards to mitigate potential malicious attacks caused by excessive log traffic. Normal usage will remain unaffected under typical conditions. The throttling mechanism will only apply to devices generating exceptionally high traffic, with minimal impact expected.
Please rest assured, all your data will be safely stored and fully retained in archived log files, so you can download and review it anytime if needed.
Zyxel will continue to take proactive steps to ensure a stable, secure, and high-quality service experience for all users. For any inquiries or support needs, please contact Zyxel Support.

Hi @Zyxel_JudyH
does Zyxel consider it necessary to plugin a USB drive in firewalls to avoid losing traffic logs?

Hi @GiuseppeR,
Thank you for your comment!
Here is an article that guides you on how to collect the event log using a USB storage on a firewall:
Additionally, Zyxel firewalls support USB storage formatted in FAT32.
If you're experiencing any issues, please let us know which firewall model you're currently using. This may help us better understand your situation and assist you in resolving any issues.
