Enlarging a clean volume should take not more than a few minutes. I suggest you to reboot the box.

Mijzelf. I have read that you have given many good tips on expansion being stuck. I'am in the same situation and it has been over 80 hours still the same state. and running scripts and commands in Linux, which can go wrong, feels harder.
I have all the data on another backup, so can in another way expand to the correct disk size, and then restore the data?

Did you already reboot? It's perfectly possible that the expansion already finished, but only failed to report that. There are situations where expansion is not possible, but in those cases it would be detected within minutes.
And yes, there should be another way to expand to the correct disk size. Delete the current volume and create a new one.
