    Hi @Zyxel_Judy,

I am also facing this weird high-CPU, POE-Threshold, loud-fan noise problem recently. Seems like is a common problem for the XS1930-12HP? I have collected the log files and it shows multiple times a week. Where can I raise the ticket with?

    Hi @MichaelS

Thanks for reaching us. If you encounter the same issue, the event log prints PoE power usage is less than 95% threshold even the remaining power is still more than that, we recommend to submit an RMA request since this an abnormal behavior. You may check the contact window of your country in the link below:

    Warranty Information | Zyxel Networks

However, high-CPU could be because your network has some issue like: loop, broadcast storm, etc. You might need to enable loop guard, strorm control to prevent those issue. About the loud-fan noise issue, this is more likely your device is overheated, please check the hardware information to see if there are any errors.

@Zyxel_Melen , the log is showing both the POE exceeds 95% and the CPU is 100%, which both is weird. I have only 2 POE AP connected and the traffic load is not high. You can see a portion of the log below.

1 2025-09-16T18:09:05+08:00 IN system: CPU utilization is over 100 and keep 5 seconds, driver count = 157.
    2 2025-09-16T18:08:51+08:00 IN authentication: HTTP(s) user admin login [IP address = xx.xx.xx.xx]
3 2025-09-16T18:06:01+08:00 NO system: PoE power usage is less than 95% threshold, remaining power is 353.1W
4 2025-09-16T18:06:00+08:00 NO system: PoE power usage exceeds 95% threshold, remaining power is 0.0W

The problem happens randomly, sometimes even when there is no traffic at all, hence not possible for any loop or DOS attack that cause the CPU usage at 100%.
