"Firewall clients by usage" not including VPN clients

Hello everyone,

as you can see:

the firewall itself can see and highlight a remote backup (from another Zyxel FW with full VPN tunnel) but it is unable to list the remote client on the widget:

As you can see there is NO client with 20 gigs of traffic.

I think it is not properly displayed.

How can I fix it?

    Hi @GiuseppeR

    The reason of this issue is because the firewall in org A will not list the client on remote site via VPN as a client. But the traffic is still recorded since it passes through the firewall. This is the current behavior.

    May I know:

    1. Which type of VPN is it? Remote access VPN or site-to-site VPN?
    2. What's the topology?
    3. The NAS, backup server, is not in this site, correct?

    Hi @Zyxel_Melen

    no, two different issues.

    These widgets are from ORG1, on Nebula, based on USG FLEX 200.

    Here I set a Site-to-Site VPN for external partners.

    1. I have ORG2 with VPN from a USG FLEX 100HP, full tunnel VPN to Nebula parameters of ORG1
    2. ORG2 sends all the traffic to ORG1 and then goes to internet from ORG1
    3. The NAS is hosted on another site (you can consider it like ORG3) of a third party Company
