Just to confirm - when you say "changed the 2 around thinking it may be something faulty in the wiring, but same outcome when changed around”, do you mean that one of the APs always shows poor throughput, or that one of the locations always results in poor throughput?

To help us better assist you, could you please provide more information:

• Firmware versions of both APs
• Network topology (a diagram is welcome)
• Try to use different cables or locations to perform cross tests
• How you performed the connection test? Did you use the same client for both APs and locations?
• Any environmental factors, such as large electronics or metal objects near the AP?
