    Hi @MrStranger

Thanks for the information about the system LED status. It confirms that the switch doesn't get stuck in the booting process.

Could you help to take these actions to verify?

    1. Reboot the switch.
    2. Isolate the switch and connect one PC.
    3. Set the PC's ip address to 192.168.1.x
    4. Ping the 192.168.1.1.
    5. Use 192.168.1.1 to access it.

    If you can't access it:

    1. To have further checking, we need to use a 4-pin console to access the switch. May I know if you have a 4pin console?
How to use the 4 pin console to connect to Zyxel switch? — Zyxel Community
    2. If not, please help to submit a RMA request. You may reference the following link to check the RMA contact window in your region.
      Warranty Information | Zyxel Networks

    If you can access it:

    1. Please help to fix the IP address of switch and keep isolate for 12 hours at least to verify if it is still accessible. Also, please share your network topology and all devices with us to understand your network.
    2. Connect back to the network and monitor this issue.
    3. If the issue happens again, please isolate the switch and check if you can access.

P.S. Zon is working on MAC based.

I've had many anomalies with this same switch.

One point to NOTE is the switch doesn't do a factory reset in the normal manner.

Even when you press the reset for 3 to 5 seconds, it does a RESTORE of the last primary configuration. If you press the reset for 20 seconds its suppose to do a factory reset, unfortunately it restores to its saved save configuration which scrambles the password.

The only way to perform a FACTORY RESET is to unplug the power, press and hold the reset and plug in the switch. It will then be set back to all e-prom (Factory) settings including the password.

Besides these and other anomalies, the switch fails to establish any vLan communication across the ports for me. I've got 50hrs in trying and that's why "A" is replacing on Monday. We'll see how the new one performs.

Good luck and keep posting your results.
