I purchased the NWA50BE (BE5100) access point. Based on its 5sG network specifications, it should support bandwidth up to 240 MHz, but in the standalone configuration, I see that it's limited to 160 MHz.

How do I set 240 MHz?

Thanks

    Hi @GPSoft ,

Thank you for your question about the NWA50BE (BE5100) access point.

You're correct that the NWA50BE supports up to 240 MHz channel bandwidth on the 5GHz radio. However, there are specific requirements to enable this feature:

To use 240 MHz bandwidth, the device requires access to channels 100-144. Specifically, channel 144 is a DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection) channel that is only available in certain regions due to regulatory requirements.

Regions where 240 MHz is supported include:

    • USA
    • Taiwan
    • Japan

If you're unable to select the 240 MHz option in your standalone configuration, this is likely due to regulatory constraints in your region that don't permit the use of channel 144. The device automatically limits available bandwidth options based on the configured country code to ensure compliance with local regulations.

If you're located in a supported region but still experiencing issues, please let us know and we'll be happy to assist further.

    Best regards,

    Lynn
