On which services Nebula relies on?
In the latest hours AWS had some… intense hiccup that impacted… "few services"
(on the right some of services affected in Italy).
I think might be useful to know on which services Nebula relies on… if this can be shared.
Zyxel is really kind to share any incident in a readable detail
Owever I don't know if there's any "status page" of the instances/services that could say "is working because all of these sites and services are ok".

Hi @mMontana & @GiuseppeR
Following the discussion, I regret to inform you that we are unable to disclose the services upon which Nebula relies.
About the status page, our product team has received this requirement and will evaluate this request.

@Zyxel_Melen thanks for the "non-answer" (not ironically).
As the latest issues of Azure and AWS showed, issue with Cloud Service Providers are reflected on Cloud Services subscription.
In this state, no Zyxel Customer is allowed to know (at least from this status) on which services Zyxel payed services rely on… And when bash (or not) the customer services for lacking service if any part of Zyxel infrastructure takes a nap for… not Zyxel responsability (ish). When the cloud service is missing, the subscription is "useless" because fails the basic necessity of on premise management.

…Well its not like you can hide where the USG is connecting too to do a whois for that IP…🤐
like the network Nebule status tells you the IP 3.253.56.252 for port 4335 which I believe the USG does a 5 second TCP ping to do with connectivity check the whois say it to Amazon Technologies Inc.
Their might be failover redundancy in place that should the main network go down DNS points to a fail over site…but only Zyxel would know this.

I would like to highlight the fact that it would be nice to have the possibility to install a Zyxel appliance (if not a software for a VM) where Zyxel could redirect cloud traffic to each specific MSP managing his ORGs.
This cost could be a choice to the specific MSP to grant 24/7 service to his Clients.
This could be like a MSP license cost, but a service that now is not available.

Hi @mMontana @PeterUK @GiuseppeR
Thank you for the follow-up, and my apologies for the lack of clarity in my previous post.
To clarify: Yes, as @PeterUK correctly pointed out , Nebula is built on AWS (Amazon Web Services). This isn't a secret, and I should have been more specific.
What I meant by "unable to disclose" are the specific, detailed AWS services and the internal architecture that Nebula relies on. We don't share these specific details for security and proprietary reasons.
@mMontana , I completely understand your point. The dependency on any major cloud provider means their issues can become our customers' issues. This is why we prioritize updating incident posts as quickly as possible with current information about what's happening, so Nebula users can stay informed and know that Zyxel is aware of and addressing the issue. Additionally, our product team is evaluating your feedback on the status page to improve transparency when these types of provider-level incidents occur.
@GiuseppeR , thank you for that suggestion. The idea of an on-premise appliance or VM to allow MSPs to manage their organizations locally is an interesting option for enhancing service resilience. I will forward this proposal to our product team for their evaluation and consideration.
