Hello everyone,

I have an ORG where a widget shows me bigger data exchanged wirelessly than another one of the same ORG.

As you can see it seems that I have had 1.6 gigs (last 24h):

with a 1.1 gigs from a specific AP, while looking at SSID usage it shows me to have had only half GB of traffic (last 24h):

I have no mesh WiFi activated, every AP is working purely as APs… so these APs traffic meters are not working properly.

How can I fix that?

    Hi @GiuseppeR

The "Access Point by usage" will record all the traffic on the AP, combine all SSIDs and the LAN port traffic(if the AP has the LAN port), therefore, the total traffic will be different to the SSIDs by usage, which record the traffic from a SSID of all APs in the same site.

May you share the number of SSIDs in this site? Does the NWA130BE connect to any device on the LAN port?

    Hi @Zyxel_Melen

    I disabled LAN onboard:

    So only pure AP function.

On that ORG I have 3 SSIDs linked to APs with tags.

    Hi @GiuseppeR

Since we want to monitor the difference between "Access Point by usage" and "SSID by usage", could you help to enable Zyxel support access and share the organization's name with us? Thanks for the cooperation.

    Hi @Zyxel_Melen

I have another ORG with the same issue:

    immagine.png immagine.png

Here I have different APs but always with MLO enabled:

Would you like to access this ORG too?

    Hi @GiuseppeR

Please allow me to update the explanation of the Access Point by usage. It records all the traffic on the AP, combines all SSIDs, the LAN port traffic, the negotiation packets between AP and Nebula (like remote SSH, firmware download, etc.), air error packets (the packet collision in the wireless link), station associate packets.

The difference is more likely related to the bold part, and the different value is random. Therefore, this difference is possible in the current behavior.

    Hello @Zyxel_Melen

thanks for these info. I get your point of view.

If you need more time to monitor those ORGs of mine, please let me know if I have to set another end date for priviledges.

    Hi @GiuseppeR

The "access points by usage" seems record mismatch is because it faithfully reflects the traffic pass through the AP. Besides those mentioned above, here are the following, but not limited to: broadcast, multicast, ARP, LLDP. Therefore, we can't compare it with the summary of SSID by usage.
