    Hi @WLN_Net_Support,

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your Zyxel Switch and are inquiring about repair or replacement options. I'm here to guide you through the process.

To determine the best course of action, please provide the following information:

    • Device Model: (e.g., GS1920-24, XGS1250-12)
    • Firmware Version: This can usually be found in the device's web interface.
    • Detailed description of the issue: (eg., What is the current LED behavior? Can you ping the switch's IP address? Any recent changes or events before it "died"?)
    • Network Topology Map: A simple diagram showing how your switch is connected to other devices.
    • Screenshots of any error messages or unusual behavior.

In the meantime, you can check the warranty status of your Zyxel device by visiting the appropriate support link based on your region and entering your device's serial number.

If your switch is determined to have a hardware issue and is still under warranty, you will likely need to initiate an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request. The process for submitting an RMA request varies slightly by region:

    • For EMEA region: Follow the guidelines on the Zyxel Support Portal.
    • For US region: Use the provided link on the Zyxel Support Portal to submit an RMA request.

Please note that Zyxel will no longer offer technical support, return, or repair services for products that have reached their End of RMA & Technical Support date.

This AI response aims to provide initial troubleshooting steps and identify information needed for further diagnosis. Feel free to share additional details based on the suggestions above — this will help community members offer more targeted assistance.
If you have feedback or idea about this AI assistant, share them in Community Feedback.

It depends why it died, if it took a power surge or lightning strike, or physical damage, it won't be covered by warranty. Otherwise it should be if it's not EOL.
