I need to add this unit to HP IMC (HPE Intelligent Management Center), but no matter what I configure in GUI/CLI, IMC will never connect

Because SNMP is simply not accessible!

Paessler SNMP Tester - 23.3.87.552 Computername: SC-3660 Interface: 10.10.9.3

10/06/2026 10:38:56 (172 ms) : Uptime
10/06/2026 10:38:57 (1207 ms) : SNMP Datatype: ASN_UNIVERSAL
10/06/2026 10:38:57 (1216 ms) : -------

10/06/2026 10:38:58 (2499 ms) : Done

Other Zyxel devices (ie GS2210-8HP) work perfectly fine

snmp-server
snmp-server version v3
snmp-server user cacti engine-id 800007e5017f000001 sha ********** priv des **********
no snmp-server user default_user engine-id 800007e5017f000001
snmp-server access default_rw_group model any level priv read default_view write default_view
no snmp-server access default_ro_group model any level noauth
no snmp-server access default_rw_group model any level noauth

Anybody has any good ideas?

To get it working, one must in

    SNMPv3 Group Configuration

add the configured SNMP user to the required Group Name with usm Security Model

What's your firmware version and snmp setting?

Can the switch reach the snmp server?

The unit does not reach anything. The unit is the SNMP destination for HP IMC

Can they communicate between VLANS? YES, of course they can!

It is just SNMP that does not play ball at all, whole snmp settings ARE already in the original post

    Firmware is the last available:

    V2.00(ABEP.1)
