Multy X, Problems with Firmware update
Freshman Member
Hello,
Someone sent me the new Firmware and the instructions for my Multy X devices.
When i tried to update my Multy's i failed when trying to connect the device via Tera Term.
Here is what i did:
I pushed the reset button. After the blue light went on i inserted the USB stick witch is formatted to ext4 and the firmware from the document you sent me on it.
I connected the multy x via lan cable with my pc.
Then tried setting my IPv4 to the static IP: 192.168.212.55. I couldn't save this IP but 192.168.212.5 worked.
Then I downloaded Tera Term and tried connecting with my multy with the settings on the manual.
I Tried different IP settings some IP's times out and some say connection lost.
Thanks for your help!

Hi @jasteoe,
Thank you for the details. Please be aware that the Multy X has reached its End of Life (EoL) status, so our support for this model is now limited. For optimal performance and ongoing support, we recommend considering our current AP offerings:
The firmware and procedure you received are still valid. Please run through the document once more and follow each step exactly as written.
