How to update USG FLEX 200H from V1.10(ABWV.1) to newest firmware?

Hi all,

how to update USG FLEX 200H from V1.10(ABWV.1) to newest firmware safely? It's a very first beta version, no standby image is shown in the UI.

    It is new out the box? Normally first power up it will well must download the update.

    If it old and never been kept update date then you can download the new firmware from
    https://portal.myzyxel.com/my/firmwares
    if you select your Model you can down 1.38(ABWV.0) and 1.39(ABWV.0) if you want the last

    to show standby image do the following

    to save 

    copy running startup

    It would then be recommended to reset to default after update

    Thanks @PeterUK ! No it isn't new, so I will download 1.39(ABWV.0).

    Is there any special upgrade path from  V1.10(ABWV.1) to 1.39(ABWV.0) needed? I want to keep the config.

    Well there's no way to download older firmware to do a step by step upgrade I'm not sure how compatible your config will keep, it may update fail go back to the old firmware slot with the new firmware in standby.

    Thanks @PeterUK . So if config could not be loaded with newest firmware. USG switches back to old firmware with old config automatically?

    yes you can backup your config too before you upgrade

    You can directly upgrade the USG FLEX 200H from V1.10(ABWV.1) to the latest version V1.39(ABWV.0).

    Below is the firmware update guide for the USG FLEX H series for your reference:

    Please rest assured that Partition Boot Selection is supported starting from V1.10.

    Your original settings will be preserved after the upgrade. However, we still highly recommend backing up your configuration file before proceeding.

    Below are the steps to back up the USG FLEX H configuration file for your reference:

    Pre-Upgrade Precautions

    • Backup Configuration: Always save and back up your current configuration file to your local computer before starting any upgrade process.
    • Do Not Power Off: Once the firmware transfer begins, do not turn off or interrupt power to the device. The process can take between 5 to 15 minutes.
