I can use a PoE port to power the FWA515?

First, please note that the FWA515 is an indoor router and does not support PoE powering. It is powered via its USB-C PD port, and a Type-C PD 45W power adapter is included in the box.

Regarding the use of a PoE splitter, we recommend powering the device with the original adapter to ensure reliable operation. Third-party adapters are outside the scope of our official compatibility testing, and unstable voltage or insufficient power delivery can cause unexpected reboots, degrade 5G and Wi‑Fi 7 throughput stability, or in the worst case damage the device.

Hi PeterUk,
OK thank you, but can I use a PoE Injector to power the FWA515 via USB-C (from PoE energy) and use the rest for Data Transmission (for example a PoE Splitter USB-C + 2.5G)?

Input: RJ45 PoE
Output USB: USB-C 5V/4A
Output RJ45: 2.5Gbit

This is a 5V output, but I think it's possible to find a 12/24V DC.
The USB-C on the FWA515 is a 5 or 12V?

I would think its 5V but you can check your adapter for the FWA515…but I don't think you get the power…

I don't have, at the moment the FWA515, at the end of month, I'll buy it.
My question is, for not use another power plug.

might not work its needs 48 W (peak)

I'm see 2.5G Type C PoE Splitter 5V/4A, 48V PoE to USB-C 5V/4A 20W

unless the FWA515 is 12V at 4A?

Yes, I see it unfortunately. But if work at 12V (I don't think — USB-C is 5V as standard, but I don't know), there is a 12V 3A (36W peak)… maybe (probably) can work.

Yes something similar; I don't know if there is something for 2.5G. I see that all those models are maximum 1G
