Hello,

There is a possibility to support a Cellular Voice Gateway or VoLTE on the FWA515? Similar to VoLTE → SIP?

For example, if I receive a call on the SIM used into the FWA, there is a possibility to forward the call to another cell number?

There is a possibility to use a software, via SIP, to answer to the call, or compose a number using the SIM onboard?

    VoLTE/Cellular Voice Gateway support cannot be implemented on the existing hardware.

    Hi @Maverick87 ,

    The Nebula FWA515 and FWA510 are purely data-focused cellular routers. They do not support native Cellular Voice Gateway features or VoLTE
    You can absolutely use third-party VoIP services (via SIP) over the FWA515's internet connection. To do this, you will need to connect a separate hardware IP Phone or run softphone client software on a connected computer/smartphone. The FWA515 will then route this traffic as standard internet data.

    Our current mobile router lineup is purely focused on data-centric cellular routing, so there are no plans to implement Cellular Voice Gateway or VoLTE support.

    ok but the problem is that needs new hardware, so needs to build a new FWA line, or it's only a software problem?

    This is a hardware limitation — the FWA510/515 do not include an RJ-11 (FXS) port, so this feature is not supported on the current models.

    Ok but it's possible to implement it via software which some softphone client?

    The FWA encapsulate the voice into "data" so it can pass on the RJ45 cable and captured by some softphone client on pc or used into a SIP

    Hi @Maverick87 ,

    The FWA515 does not have built-in Cellular Voice/VoLTE-to-SIP gateway functionality, so it cannot bridge the SIM's cellular voice service to a softphone client on the LAN side.
