Problem loading a .conf configuration file onto an ATP200.

Good morning, I have now managed to load the configuration. I had already tried the settings you suggested—port 60443 and IP 192.168.2.1—but without success. It is now working with both 192.168.2.1 and 192.168.1.1, which are the LAN1 and LAN2 IPs. I cannot say why it worked this time after several attempts. Here is the procedure I followed based on your advice: I uploaded the file to the configuration file list and then applied it. After 20 minutes, the process was still running, and no completion message had appeared. I then refreshed the page and logged in locally using port 60443. In any case, I do not believe this is the intended procedure for restoring a backup configuration; the correct method should simply be the standard upload of the .conf file. I therefore look forward to receiving a definitive solution from you. Thank you very much.

Hi @pieroCastampi ,
Actually, uploading and applying the configuration file to the firewall is as simple as the step-by-step guide I provided. In your case, since your existing configuration had some special settings (as I mentioned earlier), you'll need to pay extra attention after applying the configuration.
By the way, you also mentioned that it's working now — so what can we help you with at this point? Could you share more details?

Zyxel_Judy, My hesitation regarding the solution you suggested for loading the .conf file stems from the fact that I was used to simply uploading it. I assumed your suggestion was just a workaround to be used when the standard upload procedure failed, so I was expecting a fix for the upload issue itself. That said, this works too; the main thing is that I manage to load the configuration file somehow. Thanks.

Hi @pieroCastampi ,
Thank you for sharing that the method you were previously familiar with was uploading the file directly as "startup-config.conf." However, there's a concern with this approach: if there's any misconfiguration or incompatibility in the file, the upload process may get stuck (as you experienced).
We'd strongly recommend following the standard flow to apply the configuration, using the steps we provided earlier — this allows you to choose how to proceed (e.g., ignore errors) if any issue occurs during the apply process, rather than the upload hanging with no way to intervene.
