Please update the procedure
Freshman Member
Hi,
the procedure for removing a device from Nebula may not resolve the issue if the firmware is old. Add a first step: Make sure the device firmware is updated.

Hi @My_UserName123,
Welcome to the Zyxel Community!
We have double confirmed the procedure described in the FAQ using an AP that was not running the latest firmware version. The device was successfully removed from our organization, and as stated in the FAQ, it reset to factory default settings after removal. We were able to log in to the device's local GUI using admin/1234 and switch to standalone mode as expected.
To better understand the issue you encountered, could you please clarify what specific problem you experienced when removing the device from Nebula? Additionally, if you are willing to share, what difficulties led you to prefer not managing the device via the NCC?
It would also be greatly appreciated if you could provide screenshots or a step-by-step description of your process, so we can investigate further.
Thank you for your cooperation.
