XGS3700 number of LACP links in stacking mode
Hi,
we stacked two XGS3700-48 for redundancy reasons.
We want to connect other switches and server via LACP which works so far. (Switches must run the same firmware version)
It seems that the number of LACP links is limited to 24 which makes sense for one 48 port switch but is pretty limiting for the stacked 2x 48 where we want to use about 30 LACP links with two gigabit each.
Is it possible to assign more LACP groups?

Hi @DS_net
Welcome to Zyxel community
The max number of LACP link is fixed 24 for XGS3700
After stacking, it still takes whole stack as a device and the max number of LACP is still 24
It will not increase after stacking
Thanks
Best regards,

We noticed that it is still 24 after stacking. (Is there a table where customers/reserllers can find those numbers? )
Is it possible to change that while stacked by creating a new firmware?

Hi @DS_net
May we know the scenario/application of your environment?
Just kind of wonder the purpose of such huge number of LACP links.
Feel free to PM us if there is certain privacy concern.

Hey Zyxels,
the setup is "pretty simple".
Two redundant firewalls each with 2x 10GE LACP into two XGS3700-48 which are stacked so the LACPs are splitted to prevent SPOF.
From the two stacked XGS3700-48 about 22 GS1920-48 are connected via 2x 1GbE LACP, and we want to add several servers and switches also via LACP.
At the moment we can't add more LACP links because of the preset of 24 LACP links.
