What is the latest firmware for the modem Zyxel  VMG8623-T50B and where found to download?

    I tried to search it, but didn't find it on the web site.
    This model might only for ISP users, so there is no public firmware on the website.
    If so, you might need to check the firmware with your ISP.

    I was able to download the upgrade file, but the update could not proceed by showing me on the screen that it failed to read the file .bin

    Did you unzip the ZIP file into a folder with the .bin file in it?
         - sorry to ask the obvious question.

    When I upgraded my VMG1312-B10D last year, it was picky about which browser I used.
        - I had some success when I was doing the upgrade when using Firefox and then eventually MS Edge worked.

    So you might want to use Firefox as you browser when doing the upgrade.

    Are you able to post a picture of the error message that you are seeing please?

         - chapter 40 covers upgrading firmware.

    This sounds like figure 242 error message in the User Guide.
          - does it occur straightaway?

    What version of firmware is your router currently running?
        - it might be that the new firmware that is on ftp.zyxel.com is incompatible with what is already running.

    It seems that the newer firmware is incompatible with the one you already have, because you have ABRV.0 branch and the one on the FTP is the ABPM.0 branch.

    I think that this means that you need to talk please to the service provider who provided your device.
