So, despite it had to be since version 4, seems on RG series, up to R11A06 firmware, cell lock does work the old way.
Now R13A01 is released, and the new sequence must be used to lock a cell, or it just ignore the command.
The new sequence is:
AT+CFUN=0
AT+QNWLOCK="common/4g" and bands you need to lock, example
AT+QNWLOCK="common/4g",1,1650,463
AT+CFUN=1
Are you guys going to release a new firmware compatible whit this change?

Hello @Stiel
Is for Zyxel models that have 5G mobile devices in them? See https://www.zyxel.com/nl/nl/news/Zyxel-ready-with-5G-samples-in-August-2019-20190522-525788.shtml
Kind regards,

Well, i use NR7101, but any product that use Quectel Series 500 502 510 etc modem module is affected. Since Zyxel products like NR7101 use a quectel module, it is affected. So was wondering, if zyxel have a ready Firmware ongoing, because other producers, like mikrotik, that use quectel modem module, already addressed this problem.
Shouldn't be so hard to implement.0
