Multy M1 constantly asks internet connection

Hi;

I buy an Multy M1 (WSM20), when I try to connect local web UI to control device (192.168.212.1) it constantly asks internet connection. However, in the premises not yet any internet.

How can I setup this device as a stand alone router for a local offline network within house?

Please suggest.

Hi @emresel,

The Multy series need to be connected to the internet to complete the first installation.
You can refer to the User Guide PG14, chapter 1.5

Multy M1 can log in to the device GUI after completing the installation.

I will try to find a way to connect to internet.

- After that -first time install- does is need internet for web UI access any more? It can go off line right?

- Can I adjust it as a stand alone mode (like home gateway/router)? or only bridge/access point?

You can follow below article to set up Multy M1

After the local password has been set up, you can access Multy M1 WEB GUI by using the local password.
The Multy default mode is in router mode.
Without internet access, the wifi is still available to use on Multy M1.
