dear Zyxel,

since changing my SSID to vlan-tagged we noticed that Iphone/Ipad-clients do not show 802.11r capability anymore in Nebula client overview; only kv. Samsung Galaxy clients are still showing kvr. This is with both assisted-roaming and 802.11r enabled.
Previously, without vlan-tag, these Apple clients were showing 802.11kvr.
Is this something to worry about?

    Hi there,

We have found 802.11r was not showed when client (with 802.11r capability) connect to NWA50AX and NWA55AXE which looks like you mentioned already. We’ll fix the issue as soon as possible.

We'll inform you after fixing this issue.

For your information: our network consists of multiple NWA-AX devices (50/55/210).

After switching back to no-vlan, we noticed that this 802.11r issue is only related to the NWA50AX ap's. Apparently this has nothing to do with VLAN (?). With apple clients connected to NWA210AX they do show 802.11r capability, but when connected to NWA50/55AX not anymore.

I have enabled Support Access. Thank you.

    Hi there,

To resolve the issue as 802.11r was not showed when client (with 802.11r capability) connect to NWA50AX and NWA55AXE, we have released a new datecode firmware.

Please let us know your org/ site name and when it would be convenient for us to schedule the update on your Nebula site.

    Thank you.

dear Zyxel, as it seems from another thread the NWA50/55/90 range does not support 802.11r as yet. Therefore it makes no sense for me to continue on this issue. Unless you claim that fast roaming is now supported with this new firmware. If so I am willing to test. Awaiting your advice,

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

NWA50AX and NWA55AXE support 802.11r fast roaming with the new datecode firmware, so you’re enable to detect the 802.11r mobility domain information for NWA50AX and NWA55AXE.

The 802.11r capability is also shown on the Nebula client list already.

In case you’d like to check this issue, please let us know your org/ site name and when it would be convenient for us to schedule the update on your Nebula site.

    Thank you.
