How would I setup file sharing on my NAS540 to allow remote clients to map as a network drive?

If the laptop is on the same lan subnet as your NAS .EX: LAPTOP IP 192.168.1.50 ,NAS IP 192.168.1.60. You can map your NAS540 without problem.
I think remote mapping is not possible, you can create user and set rights(maybe read only) for the user.
Then, provide the account to the user whom would like to access the NAS.0
