LTE7480-M804 loses connection and stays disconnected until next reboot

I am having a rough time with the Zyxel LTE7480. It is bound to ISP firmware V1.00(ABQZ.5)C0, which keeps losing the internet every 4th or 5th day. This is quite annoying because I am not always around to reboot it. Is there a way to install the latest OEM firmware somehow? The ISP no longer supports this product.
