Zyxel NR7101 - Static Gateway (APN setting)

Hello. 

Does anyone know what this setting does please as I can't see it in the documention?

I currently use IP Passthrough to send the WAN IP from my ISP to my Asus XT12 Mesh Node.  I use fixed mode and have assigned the MAC address direct (dynamic mode works just fine but I thought I'd hard code it).

What I note is that, if the Zyxel is rebooted or the SIM connection drops / reconnects, the WAN IP (being dynamic from the ISP) changes.  It can make management troublesome as I have to find the new Gateway IP to before I can connect to the management screen.  I was hoping that Static Gateway might be the answer here?

Here we can see how it looks in the XT12.  Primary WAN successfully connected to the NR7101 and the Gateway and WAN IP 10.x.x.x are shown.  These can change all the time.

Can I simply put in an IP of my choosing into Static Gateway field (i.e. 192.168.x.x) and would that then be reflected in the XT12 console (instead of 10.x.x.x)?
