How to upgrade the firmware for AP via Web Configuration?

The aim of this guide is to guide you upgrade the firmware for AP via Web Configuration.
- Find the firmware package at Zyxel Download library in a file that (usually) uses a .bin extension.
2. Click Maintenance > File Manager > Firmware Package
3. Click Browse... to find the .bin file you want to upload. Remember that you must decompress compressed (.zip) files before you can upload them.
4. Click Upload to begin the upload process. This process may take up to two minutes.
5. After you see the Firmware Upload in Process screen, wait two minutes before logging into the AP again.
Note:
- There are some other methods to upgrade the firmware for AP, such as: ZON, FTP
- The firmware update can take up to five minutes. Do not turn off or reset the AP while the firmware update is in progress.
- The AP automatically reboots after a successful upload. It automatically restarts causing a temporary network to disconnect to devices connected to its network. In some operating systems, you may see the following icon on your desktop.
