NSA320S SMB upgrade

Hi, I tried to install the MetaRepository in order to have Entware-ng smbd.

First I placed the web_prefix file with http://zyxel.diskstation.eu/Users/Mijzelf/zypkg-repo/ and http://metarepository.tk/Users/Mijzelf/zypkg-repo/ in /Admin/zy-pkgs share. But neither seems to work. The packages list is empty. What do I do wrong?

Admin shouldn't have a capital. And did you put a file with both urls in zy-pkgs? That won't work. It's one or the other.

It's /admin/zy-pkgs, my typo. I copied web_prefix with one and then the other address, not both at the same time, using web interface since I can't use ssh yet.

It's strange as well I cannot access the forum you provided a link to: http://zyxel.diskstation.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16. I read it via the waybackmachine though.

If I paste either of these repositories to the Chrome browser, should I see something? In the first case I get "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN", and in the second "The requested URL was not found on this server."

Yes. It's a normal webpage. If the browser can't open that page, the package manager in the NAS can't do it either. Try http://metarepo.tk/Users/Mijzelf/zypkg-repo/
