To force your repeater AP to connect to the root AP using a specific band, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Devices » Access points" page on Nebula.
- Locate and click on the specific repeater AP that you want to configure.
- In the status section of the AP settings, you will find the "Smart Mesh" option.
- Click the "Edit" icon to access further configuration options, within the Smart Mesh configuration, look for the "Band" option.
- Switch the band option from 'Auto (high band preferred)' to the band you want to force the mesh uplink connection to use.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your repeater AP connects to the root AP using the specific band you have chosen, optimizing your network performance according to your preferences.
