GS1350- CLV not working

I have a new to me GS1350-6HP. Its running the latet 4.70 firmware as far as I can tell. Finding it very difficult to get the vlans doing what I want and am at the CLI trying to enable CLV mode (I am very familiar with cisco switches).

The CLI guide for the 1350 says I should be able to enable, config, clv to enter clv mode. I get an invalid command? What am I missing?

Thanks for asking. It is because GS1350 does not support CLV mode. Please reference its datasheet. We apologize for the misleading since the CLI guide is a generic document. We will enhance this part for more clarity.

OK, well it would be good if the GS1350 CLI guide was renamed as a generic document. Its named as for the GS1350 (GS1350-26HP_V4.70_Ed2.pdf)

Perhaps you could help me translate. In cisco world what I am trying to do is

define a MAC group

Cisco(config)#vlan database

Cisco(config-vlan)#map mac 00:1d:c1:00:00:00 24 macs-group 1

which I believe translates to

vendor-id-based-vlan name "" source-mac 00:1d:c1:00:00:00 mask ff:ff:ff:00:00:00 vlan 400 priority 3

I am not sure what I need to do for the VLANs and port settings.

In cisco, I would define the Vlans and the port settings I am trying (unsuccessfully so far) to replicate are

Cisco(config-if-range)#int range ge5-6

Cisco(config-if-range)#switchport mode general

Cisco(config-if-range)#switchport general allowed vlan add 100,400 untagged

Cisco(config-if-range)#switchport general map macs-group 1 vlan 400

Cisco(config-if-range)#switchport general pvid 100
