For cloud mode managed AP, currently does not provide FTP settings for cloud mode AP on Nebula.
However, to disable FTP on your Zyxel Access Point running, follow these steps at the beginning of the process:
If you are using the command line interface (CLI):
- SSH into the Access Point by using Putty or TeraTerm SSH application.
- Enter
Router> configure terminal - Type
Router(config)# no ip ftp serverto disable the FTP server - Save the configuration by typing
Router(config)# write - Exit the configuration mode with
Router(config)# exit
To verify that FTP has been disabled, use the command:Router# show ip ftp server status
For users managing the device in standalone mode can additionally disable the FTP service via the local GUI:
- Log into the Access Point's local web page
- Navigate to Configuration >> System >> FTP
- Uncheck the "Enable" option and click the "Apply" button
