    Hello @Peter2

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I'm working with a downloaded file for local firmware upgrade.

Here is the exact path and file name:

    "C:\Users\User\Downloads\NBG6615_V1.00(ABMV.6)C0\V1.00(ABMV.6)C0.bin"

First if I go the classic way - download , unzip and upload the .bin file.

    "C:\1\firmware.bin"

Then when I move the bin file to a shorter directory and rename bin file.

    Kind regards,

    Jan

I think one should not rename the unpacked firmware file ….

unsure whether unpacking the firmware file might cause any issues.
When upgrading the firmware, I will ensure to keep the original file naming intact.

    Hello @suisei

    Thanks for your reply.

When I leave the file naming intact

    "C:\Users\User\Downloads\NBG6615_V1.00(ABMV.6)C0\V1.00(ABMV.6)C0.bin"

I end up with an error "This site can't be reached - check the address"..

    Kind regards,

    Jan

    Hello @Peter2

    Thanks for your reply.

Are you suggesting that I put the bin file in a directory like this?

    "C:\1\V1.00(ABMV.6)C0.bin"

    Kind regards,

    Jan

first: dont change the name of the file may be extract unpack it once again, control the file size

second: i dont know your directory structure/access rights Network ? linux ?

→ may be you put it on a usb stick an load it from there ?

    — there is no browse dialogue for loading the file , you have to enter the file path and this is the reason that you wanted to simplify the file name ??

may be try this : "\\C:\1\V1.00(ABMV.6)C0.bin"

may be : you have to be in "router mode " not access Point ??

→ Yes, i think its necessary that the device is in Routermode for getting access to the firmware file !

So good luck for you .
