Well I am doubly confused now. Switched the router off last night thern went to bed. Come this morning all is working as it should. Zyxel wifi is not available so how it turned itself off is beyond me. I had previously disabled IP passthrough but that had reinitialised itself so have disabled again.

Anyway seems to be okay now. I do wish I understood how these things worked a bit better.
