Here are some steps and checks you can perform to understand and potentially resolve the issue of receiving offline alerts for an online device:
- Check Connection Stability:
- Ensure that the device's internet connection is stable. Intermittent connectivity might cause the device to appear offline temporarily, triggering alerts.
- Review Alert Settings in NCC:
- Navigate to the alert settings in the NCC. Go to Organization-wide > Configure > Alert settings.
- Review the conditions under which offline alerts are sent. It's possible that the alert thresholds or conditions are too sensitive, causing frequent alerts.
- Inspect Device Logs:
- Check the device logs or port statistics for any records of disconnections or errors that might explain the intermittent offline status.
