Here are some steps and checks you can perform to understand and potentially resolve the issue of receiving offline alerts for an online device:

  1. Check Connection Stability:
    • Ensure that the device's internet connection is stable. Intermittent connectivity might cause the device to appear offline temporarily, triggering alerts.
  2. Review Alert Settings in NCC:
    • Navigate to the alert settings in the NCC. Go to Organization-wide > Configure > Alert settings.
    • Review the conditions under which offline alerts are sent. It's possible that the alert thresholds or conditions are too sensitive, causing frequent alerts.
  3. Inspect Device Logs:
    • Check the device logs or port statistics for any records of disconnections or errors that might explain the intermittent offline status.
