Zyxel Networks has introduced a significant enhancement to the administrator limit in Nebula Control Center (NCC) with the release of version 18.10. This update is particularly beneficial for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and organizations using the NCC platform.

Previous Administrator Limits

Historically, NCC imposed limits on the number of administrators that could be added to an organization, varying by subscription level:

• Base (Free) Organizations: Maximum of 5 administrators (including the owner).
• Plus Organizations: Maximum of 8 administrators.
• Pro Organizations: No limit on administrators.

These limits included the owner as one of the administrators.

Introduction of MSP Admins and Teams

In version 11.00, NCC introduced the MSP Admins and Teams feature, which allowed MSP accounts to add administrators across different organizations owned by the MSP. Initially, this feature served as a quality-of-life tool, streamlining the management of multiple organizations.

Enhancement in Version 18.10

With version 18.10, NCC has expanded the functionality and value of the MSP Admins and Teams feature:

• Administrator Limit Exemption: Administrators added via MSP Admins and Teams no longer count towards the administrator limits of Base or Plus organizations.
• Unlimited Administrators for MSPs: An account with an MSP pack license can now add an unlimited number of administrators to any Base or Plus organization without affecting the organization's administrator limit.
  

This change significantly enhances the administrative flexibility for MSPs, allowing them to efficiently manage a large number of administrators without hitting the predefined limits of Base or Plus organizations.

How to Add Administrators

1. Access MSP Admins and Teams:
   • Navigate to the MSP cross-management section in NCC.
   • Select the "Admins and Teams" feature.
2. Add Administrators:
   • Add a new administrator by entering their email address and assigning them to the desired organizations.
   • Specify the permissions and roles for the new administrator.
3. Verify Addition:
   • Confirm that the new administrators are successfully added without encountering the previous limit restrictions.
