Hi @Ceefive ,
To better assist you, could you please provide the following information:
- Which Multy model and firmware version are you currently using?
- How many Multy devices do you have? How are they configured - one main unit with satellites, or as independent units?
- Does the issue occur when your laptop connects to the main unit or to satellite units?
- If the issue happens with satellite units, please verify if there are any problems when connecting to the main unit. Also, try resetting the satellite and reconnecting your laptop to it.
- Is this issue specific to your laptop, or does it affect all devices on your network?

Hello Zyxel,
My setup in question is:
2 Multy M1 units configured in a Mesh (a Router and a Satellite) – connected with a cable.
They are in the attic right above my office/living room. They are about 5 meters apart.
In a remote part of the house I did have a 3rd Multy-M1 connected over Wifi – but this is turned off for now since the roaming seemed not to work.
Both my Multy’s have Firmware V1.00(ABZF.6)C0
When connecting my laptop over Wifi I get excellent coverage on both 2.4G and 5G
The issue I can reproduce on my Lpatop – but I have other units that loose internet now and then when on Wifi. My phone and my iPad.
You ask me to check if problem exist when connecting to one or the other Multy.
How do I check wich Multy I’m connected to ?
The Network map I can get on my App on iPhone only shows the 2 Multy units – no clients are there.
Thank you for your feedback.

HI @Ceefive ,
Thank you for your feedback.
Please reset the Multy M1 and then follow the settings below to check whether the wireless connection issues addressed.
- Set a static channel on the 2.4GHz band to channel 6 and on the 5GHz band to channel 36.
- If the guest Wi-Fi is not needed in your network, please disable the guest Wi-Fi.
- Ensure that the Main Multy is functioning properly on its own.
- After confirming that the Main Multy works, proceed to install the satellites.
- Let the wireless clients connect to the Wi-Fi network again.

Have done reboot and setup channels 6 and 36
No guest Wifi
Main Multy functioned well before starting sattelite.
Wireless and wired clients connected again.
My laptop has dropped out again once.
- Why dont I see any messages in the router System Log ?
- How do I see wich Satellite my units are connected to ?
