How to troubleshoot an access point that is not turning on or going online?

If your Access Point is not turning on and going online, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Restart: Restart both your Access Point and your router. Unplug their power cables for approximately 10 seconds and then plug them back in. This can often resolve minor connectivity issues.
  2. Check the physical connection: Ensure the Ethernet cable connecting your Access Point to your router is securely plugged in at both ends. Try using other ports with the AP as well.
  3. Check the LED indicators: The LED lights on your Access Point can provide insights into its status. Refer to the user manual for specific LED indicators and their meanings. This could point to a power or connection issue.
