If your Zyxel access point (AP) shows reduced connection speed, follow these steps:
- Ensure that the Ethernet cable is Cat5e or higher.
- Switch the AP to a different Ethernet port on the switch.
- Reset the AP to its factory settings. Refer to this link for detailed reset steps.
- If the problem persists, swap the problematic AP with another AP that you know works well using the same cable and switch port. If the known good AP maintains a good connection, this indicates a hardware issue with the original AP.
