NSA326 How to kill backup process?

I created a backup task as a full copy, packed. I have a 2x2Tb mirror array in my Zyxel NSA326, which is about 70% full. I also connected an external 2TB drive as a destiny of a copy.
The backup task is extremely slow, that after 24 hours of backup, maybe 2% was done. It makes no sense! The backup will last a month!
I deleted the created task, but it is still running. After a week, the task is 26% done!
My question is how to stop this task? Even turning off the power does not help. After restarting, the task continues. Maybe I will create next task without packing.
Question 2: how to use backup? After all, even if I wanted to backup data every 2 weeks, the tasks will overlap! It makes no sense!
