If you want to switch Nebula Cloud-managed switches back to local administration, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the switch is removed from the Nebula organization, not just from the site. This step resets the device to factory default settings and transitions it to standalone mode.
  2. If the switch still appears in cloud mode, please make sure you have removed the device from the organization, not just from the site.
  3. If you don't know the switch's IP address, use the Zyxel ZON utility to scan and locate the switch. You can download the ZON utility from the official Zyxel website here: ZON utility.
  4. Make sure to hold the reset button on the switch for about 10 seconds to perform a manual reset if needed.
