Captive Portal uOS1.35 - Active Directory

Hi everyone,

I have a Zyxel USG FLEX 500H (Firmware version: V1.35(ABZH.0) and I am configuring Captive Portal integrated with my Active Directory via SSO. The integration has been successfully completed and the firewall has been registered in my Active Directory, however, when a user authenticates on a computer, the section is not automatically started on the firewall and browsing remains unavailable.

I don't have any failure messages in the logs, only information about browsing blocks by Captive Portal. If I force browsing via a browser by opening a website, the authentication screen is displayed and, if I enter the user's data, the section is established and browsing is released.

As Agent SSO is no longer applied by Zyxel, I would like more information on how to proceed in this case, so that authentications occur transparently, without the need for a second authentication on the Captive Portal default page.

I would like to point out that the users used in the tests (and also the computers) are members of the domain and are duly recognized during the configuration validation on the AAA Server.

USG FLEX H doesn't support SSO agent. Instead of it, USG FLEX H will support Captive Portal with Microsoft Entra ID and Cloud Auth in the future firmware.
