FWA510 - How to enable/disable internet for a device through SSH command?

Hello,

Through the web interface, we are able to enable/disable internet for specific device from the connectivity panel.

By clicking on a device, we can switch a toggle button to activate "internet blocking".

I would like to know if we can manage this feature with SSH command.

Currently, the functionality to enable/disable internet access for a specific device on your FWA510 via SSH command is not officially documented or directly supported through standard CLI commands. While Zyxel devices generally support SSH for command-line interface (CLI) execution, the granular control over individual client internet blocking, as seen in the web interface, is typically managed through the device's graphical user interface (GUI) or potentially through Nebula Cloud management for supported devices.

The FWA510 primarily functions as a mobile broadband router. While you can access the device via SSH for certain configurations and to retrieve information, the detailed control over client connectivity is usually handled at a higher application level within the device's firmware via its web interface.

To assist you further and investigate if there are any alternative methods or workarounds, please provide the following information:

• FWA510 Firmware Version: This can be found in the web interface of your FWA510.
• Network Topology: A brief description or diagram of your network setup, including how the FWA510 is connected and where the devices you want to manage are located.
• Screenshots: If possible, provide a screenshot of the "internet blocking" toggle button in the web interface you mentioned.

If your FWA510 is managed by Nebula, please also consider enabling Zyxel Support Access:

• Navigate to Help > Support Request in your Nebula console.
• Provide the Organization and Site name where your FWA510 is located.

FWA510 doesn't support to use CLI to disable/enable Internet. If you want to disable/enable, you might need to use a script to do.
