When I try to access my NAS221 I get an error message saying that it uses the obsolete SMB1 and giving a Microsoft link which tells me to contact the vendor to look for an SMB2 update.

Windows 10 default now is no longer supported SMB1, but you still can enable this feature in Windows feature, here you can refer the topic as the way to enable it.
