Can you connect directly to laptop.

I'm in a situation that I need to be offline for a little while.  Is it possible to directly connect the NAS326 to my MacBook?

Have you tried the manual? Reading over mine I Remember a bit of info in there.

You mean like this: MACBOOK ---- LAN ---- NAS326 without router?
If yes, try setup the statis IP address on your NAS and PC with same subnet, such as 192.168.1.33 and 192.168.1.34, then you are able to access NAS data directly.
