Multy X - Daisy chain config

I understood Multy X didn’t operate as a true mesh network – it used a star configuration in which all nodes talked directly to the router. An update was promised in March that would add support for daisy-chained configurations, has this happened with the new v2 firmware? I’m considering buying a 3 piece system.
