Hi, I have the Multy X with two units set up. But can not get it to work with devices on 2.4 GHz, for example Rpi 3B and Iphone 4S. Is this a known limitation?

What do you mean "can not get it to work with devices on 2.4GHz"?
Raspberry Pi 3B and iPhone 4S can see 2.4GHz SSID, but cannot connect to it?
Is there any devices able to connect 2.4GHz? Can you share detail description or screenshot?

Hi, They see the SSID but can not connect. I have also tried to give the 2.4 Ghz SSID a different name and tried to connect to that, still same result; no connect. Newer equipment can connect fine to the Wifi. And the rpi3 and 4S have the latest os/drivers available.

    Hi RobK,

May I know what is iOS version of your iPhone 4S?
Is there any message from iPhone 4S when it connected fail?
Do you input some special characters in WiFi Password and/or WiFi Name?
Do you try to change current WiFi Password and/or WiFi Name? Is it still the same?

I tested my old iPhone 4S (iOS 8.4.1) and it works properly.
Here is the screenshots with my iPhone 4S.

Below is the screenshot from Multy App.

Hi Teemo. Thanks for your reply. I will check version on the iOS when I get home, but no there are no special characters in either the SSID or password. I have tried changing SSID name on the 2.4 Ghz Wifi but the Rpi and 4S still wont connect. No message when it fails. Ill update later today with version on the iOS.

Hi again Teemo. Just checked the version on the old 4S. It is 9.3.5(13G36).
