What to do when Multy U (WSR30) fails to upgrade firmware?

When the Multy app prompts a message to tell you that Multy U (WSR30) fails to upgrade firmware, the possible reason is that Internet was disconnected during firmware upgrading. Please check Internet connection first. If Internet connection is alive, please reset and reinstall Multy U (WSR30).

  • New Multy user. Initial install successful except for last step where Multy App announced a firmware upgrade required. It's been spinning my phone for 20 min. Is this usual? I'm using an iPhone 5se, iOS 14.8.1, wifi enabled and connected, phone signal 1-2 bars.

    Thank you for feeding back to us and we had addressed the root cause of this issue. We're working on this issue , the app will be updated soon.
    However, if you need to manage your device urgently, here we have  a beta version which should resolved the issue you met.
    We'll release a new firmware on the app store once the formal version is ready.

    The issue has been resolved. You can download the latest Multy APP firmware via APP store.
