Hello, I'm not sure what happened, buy my WAH7706 LTE router won't boot past the Zyxel logo, it just stays there forever, until you pull the battery.

Is there any way I can recover it from here, perhaps reflash the firmware somehow?

    Hi bobale,

May I clarify some items with you?
    1. How long you use your WAH7706?
    2. Before this issue happens, do you have any change on your device?
    3. Can you please help to provide serial number of device? And confirm if it’s still in warranty?

    1. I'm not really sure, but it's certainly over a year old.
    2. No, I didn't change anything or mess with the firmware, or the settings.
    3. SN: S162Z48000007. Pretty sure it's out of warranty.

    Hi bobale,

Yes, it's out of warranty. Actually, we cannot confirm if it's related to software or not and we also have no newer fw for this model. You may try to factory reset device to check if it can be recovered.

How can I do a factory reset if the device won't boot? Is there any other way to recover it, via pc for example?

    Hi bobale,

You can try to pull the battery till it boot up and then click “Reset” button over 10 seconds. Then wait 2-3 mins, device will back to factory reset state.

Unfortunately, reset button isn't doing anything, tried it already.

    Hi bobale,

If reset the device isn’t useful for you, you may send your device back to repair.
