Nas 326 Hard drives

Hello.
I'm considering to buy 326 Nas.
I'm planning to install on 1st bay 8tb and 2nd bay 4tb drive.
1.Can I use 1st bay for access and use global and 2bay as internal nas drive only?
2. Can I set up backup from folder (pictures, etc) on 2bay as incremental backup copy?

I had created two volumes.
Backup type is incremental.
