Can I use an USB box as external drive on NSA325V2

Is it possible to connect an usb-box with four bays to the NSA 325 v2 and use as external drive? I have some 1tb and 2tb unused disks that can be reused by loading them into a box. Is this going to work? Has anyone tried this?
